Re: May 5th & 6th walleyes
Thanks Tom. I went back out yesterday with former member Tom Hill and we limited on the Michigan side in under 2 hours and then went to the Ontario side and picked up our last 2 there. Better action on our side. Not much room in my freezer now.

May 5th & 6th walleyes
I took Joel Garinger jigging the Detroit River on May 5th & 6th. We came in with our Michigan limit of 10 on the 5th all on the US side in shallow water. On the 6th we had our Michigan limit of 10 in 1 1/2 hours, just wild. Then we ran to the Ontario side & caught 2 there for our Ontario limit of 12...

Opening Day gobbler
AT 7:40am Monday I called in and shot a 26# gobbler with an 11" beard. I was watching 2 strutters in 200 yards away in 1 direction but they were not responding to my calls. Then I gave some aggressive cuts and a gobbler sounded from behind me. He came in quickly to my calls. The only problem was aft...

Got a Big Turkey on Tuesday, April 24, 2018
I hunted in Hillsdale County and almost got a nice long beard on Monday. He came to within 60 yards before turning away. So close. Tuesday I moved to a different spot on the property where I had a pop-up blind to hunt in the expected rain, and after hearing a few gobbles from the roosts early, I saw...

Re: usernames
Don, I realize some handles are boat names. As I quit fishing tournaments over 20 years ago there is not much interaction with them. (Still think we should stop them and just have outings.) I did do Special People for its first 25 years. What's wrong with having posters identified by name? Steve

I would like to have all users use their real names and not some 'handle' that cannot id them. Why should posters on our site have the need to have their identity hidden. I don't know who many post authors are: Bad Dog I think is Tom Gorguze. Big MaMa,Tennesseekick31, Nightmoves etc. I also have had...
